CIM is actively seeking to establish partnerships with wireless operators, ISPs, ASPs next generation telcos, and other telecommunications companies and enterprises which operate in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
CIM's Partners and Affiliates are afforded the capacity to:
- Accrue profits on thousands of minutes of traffic terminated through a CIM gateway by Tier One and Tier Two telecommunications carriers
- Offer other companies' passage through a CIM gateway for far more competitive rates than those offered locally; and
- Route outbound international voice, fax and data traffic at a fraction of the rates presently paid.
Currently available technology has lowered the physical cost of originating a call from anywhere and terminating that call in any other country to as little as US $0.05 per minute. In many cases, government taxes make up as much as 80% of the cost of an international call, often exceeding US $1.00 per minute.
Monopolistic telecommunications companies and the inelasticity of business needs allows governments to gouge corporate customers. With deregulation years away in many markets, businesses must either forfeit hundreds of thousands of dollars in profits each year or find a way to circumvent government monopolies.
CIM provides a technologically advanced, easy to operate means to break down traditional barriers to low-cost international communications. Establishing a CIM gateway in your country can be the first step to participating in the fast growing global telecommunications industry.
Getting Started
CIM's Gateway solutions rely on Internet protocol technology. This open architecture technology can be deployed quickly, easily and in a cost effective manner.
Deploying CIM technology requires the following partner contributions:
- Secure location on which can be mounted a 3.8 meter satellite dish and outdoor electronics to receive and transmit signals;
- Air-conditioned facility in which will be a desktop unit that contains the electronics to activate a communications link between the user's equipment and the satellite; and
- Either an E1 / TI or 30 / 24 analog lines which connect into the local public switched telephone network (PSTN).
With this infrastructure in place, CIM will construct, test, ship, install and integrate a turnkey gateway which is interconnected with CIM's global network. From placing the order for equipment to transmitting your first minute, the process typically takes between 2-3 months
